  • What exactly is an Escape Room?
    An Escape Room is an exciting interactive game where players are "trapped" in a room and must work together to solve clues and escape the room before running out of time.
  • What ages are appropriate for our rooms?
    All rooms are suitable for adults. Some rooms are rated PG-13 and only available to teens 13 years of age or older. PG rooms are fun for ages 7 and up. All players between the ages of 7 and 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Age requirements are strictly enforced and we have the right to refuse entry to anyone under the minimum age.
  • Do you require a waiver and can I sign the waiver beforehand to save time?
    Yes! All parties MUST pay for a ticket and sign a waiver; we recommend you fill out the waiver ahead of time by clicking the link below; or there is a direct link located on your confirmation email; lastly, a waiver kiosk is available at our facility, once you arrive - remember it's important to be here 15 minutes before the start of your mission. You will need to know the date and time of your mission to fill out the form. Minors must have an adult (18+) sign a waiver on their behalf. Parents/Guardians/Chaperones may use one waiver to sign for all the minors in their group. If you are switching players, have the new participant sign a waiver, no need to call to notify us of the player change
  • Are infants, toddlers/children under 7, or companion animals/pets allowed?"
    Unfortunately no, Escape Rooms are not safe or suitable for infants, toddlers, young kids or pets: there are movements, sounds, smells, etc. that may startle them and cause a disturbance for you and any other participants in the room. We ask that you please honor this so that it is an enjoyable experience for all parties.
  • What's available and do I need an appointment or can I just walk in?
    Reservations in advance are highly recommended. We can not guarantee a spot without one, especially during our peak times. Please book online or give us a call at (815) 722-7800
  • How long does an experience last?
    Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to recieve your mission. Depending on the room you choose you will either have 10 minutes or 60 minutes to escape the room.
  • What time do you start the mission and what is your late policy?
    You must arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled time! As a courtesy to us and others if you are running late please call us at 815-722-7800. We begin the rules and orientation prior to your mission time and start the mission precisely on time. Once we have escorted everyone into the room we can NOT allow others to enter. Unfortunately if you arrive after the time of your appointment, you may lose out on participating. We will then try to reschedule you that day (If possible) or you may lose time off your mission if we have to start late. There is a great possibility you will not be able to play that day if you arrive late and we are booked. No REFUNDS or CREDIT given for non-attending participants.
  • What if I can't solve the puzzle and want out of the room?
    You will be monitored during your mission and will be able to communicate with our Escape Specialists. In an emergency, you can open the door yourself to get out. You are allowed up to three hints, which you can ask for as needed. If you don't escape within the 10 or 60 minutes, please come back and try again!
  • How many people will be in our group?
    In general we like to have 6-8 people in each room working together. Depending on the size of your group, you could be paired with others. Working with others is a benefit as some of our clues require more than one person to activate. If you would like to keep your party private you must buy out all 8 tickets for that time slot.
  • Can we rent the entire room for ourselves?
    Yes, to book a room for the members of your party only all you have to do is purchase the full amount of tickets for the room. Depending on the room you choose it would be 6 tickets or 8 tickets.
  • Can we choose what room we want to be in?
    Of course you can! When you schedule your appointment online you can choose the room theme you like!
  • Are your rooms handicap accessible?
    Our rooms can handle a wheel chair but they do have some physical challenges. Please give us a call if you need special accommodations or need help choosing the best room for you!
  • Do you accept cancellations or offer refunds?
    Unfortunately no. Just like movies, concerts, haunted houses, sports and other ticketed events we are unable to give refunds - NO EXCEPTIONS! When you reserve a time slot that slot is yours and we are unable to rent it out to someone else if you fail to make it. We can however reschedule your ticket(s) with adequate notice! Requests must be handled a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled event. This 48 hour advanced notice gives us time to try to fill some of your spots but there is no guarantee we will be able to do so. If you must rebook with less than a 48 hours notice, you will be subject to a 50% rebooking fee.
  • How do I request to reschedule my booking?
    We do require a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled event to reschedule a booking, so that we still have the opportunity to fill that time slot. If you call or email us more than 48 hours in advance, we are happy to assist you in rebooking your appointment without penalty. Please do not try to reschedule your appointment online. We must do it on our end so you must call us to do so.
  • Do you sell gift certificates online?
    Currently we are only selling gift cards in store only.
